Being a wedding photographer is an honor, of course. But being a wedding photographer for another photographer is in it’s own category of honor!
Photographers see the world in a different way. We see light, shapes, details, and movement that someone else might pass over. We see a random patch of grass on the highway and think “wow the sun is hitting that highway patch of grass beautifully!” So on our own wedding day, we can’t help but see the light and shapes and photo opportunities, though we have to hand over the vision to someone else behind the camera.
I am so grateful that Alicia, who has become a dear friend, had me with her on her wedding day to document all of the love and happiness and light and details 🙂 Alicia and Brian’s wedding day had some of the most heartwarming moments I’ve ever seen! Scroll for all the feels.
