Mackenzie and Bret {310 Event Venue Wedding Photography}

When I met Mackenzie and Bret earlier this year, Mackenzie described her wedding as “unicorns and motorcycle jackets”. I think she nailed it 🙂 From glitter champagne bottles to pink checkered vans, every detail rocked. She even had unicorn cereal in the morning!! I could have photographed their details—and her dress!!!—all day long. As a photographer, details that flow together and tell a story are like the best tasting buttercream icing on top of the emotional cake of weddings.

But it’s the emotional cake of weddings that makes my job SO unbelievably special. There were so many moments throughout Mackenzie and Bret’s day that made my heart explode behind the camera! Everything from the first time they saw each other, to Mackenzie crying during her first dance with her father, to the whole wedding party shotgunning beers! Also, cutting the cake so hard the knife breaks. One of my top wedding moments of all time!

How could it get any better? I’ll tell you. Mackenzie and Bret started dating in seventh grade. “This will be an everlasting love” <— play that while you scroll down!
